I want Juventus/Liverpool and Sevilla/Roma if we’re being generous with the dramatic comebacks this round

That's what it sounded like to me. Although, he also said he felt dead inside and like a passenger in a driverless car, so maybe it's not just the fans getting on his back?

At first I thought this was a reply to McCarthy’s dead inside comment.

From what I understand, and I haven't really follow the team closely this year, fans have been getting on his back because the team plays absolutely terrible football. McCarthy doesn't like that because he's from Yorkshire and he doesn't like being criticised.

Now personally I feel this time has come to an end, he's been here a long time (in terms of management), he's done a good job with no budget and has stabilised the club when we were near relegation before he took over. But there's been no push forward for a while, our football is terrible and fans aren't wanting to overpay to see that shit.

There's the added thing of some of our academy players who he's released for "not being good enough" now tearing it up for teams elsewhere, which is always going to nark the fans.

I'm sure he'll do a decent job somewhere, but the fans had enough of his shit, boring, directionless, football and he didn't like it.

 

While I agree it’s overall pretty silly, I can’t believe how angry people are at Kane for trying to get credit for that goal. He cares about winning the Golden Boot. That doesn’t make him an asshole lol

I doubt he catches Salah though. He’s missed too many games and Salah is ridiculous.
