I mean he's a child! Thought Rashford would score from a corner. Was a good spot and well struck free kick but feck me that was shocking stuff from him.

At least that shit Holt has left (I hope), flopping in the box at every opportunity, it helped them get promoted a few years back.

It'll be a shit 1-1 draw, Ipswich can't defend so doubt we'll keep a clean sheet.

McCarthy's honesty is his best feature, not sold on his managerial ability other than making us stable. Need a new manager to take the team forward, would love to hire a young guy from the lower leagues to take the team forward, but won't happen with this ownership.

Doesn't get any better for the keep the more you watch it. Poor lad. Been asking for it all night mind, Rashford almost scored direct from a corner just before this.

Grant Holt? Plays for the mighty Kings Lynn Town now.

Probably the only place more inbred than Norwich.

I would laugh if Mbappé get the Ballon d'Or before Neymar.

I thought we had a handy group when they were announced but I wasn't expecting it to be this easy. We didn't leave first gear in either of our first two games and today, we didn't even leave neutral. Benfica were fairly hopeless.

Yeah, United haven't had the "best" result of the English clubs this game week, if you're going by score. But we had one of the most comfortable I'd say. Barely broke a sweat, and didn't look like conceding all game.

  14. I’m honestly kinda shocked Spurs have done so well in their group. Had some lucky breaks against Dortmund and pulled out the win. Handled APOEL like we should. And then survived away to Madrid. Positioned perfectly to advance but you never know with this club.

spurs will easily walk through the group. said it when they were drawn. dortmund haven't been great in a long while and spurs are handily the better team.

  16. On paper they just look like a bad matchup imo. But Davies and Trippier playing above expectations has really helped. I was worried about our pace on the outside against them but those two guys held their own.

on paper, sure. I see that. but really you guys are and should be a step above dortmund. their defensive organisation is nonexistent and they're uninspiring going forward. think you'll beat them in germany and that'll be that.

  18. I also can’t believe how pleased I am with Sissoko this season. He is getting better every game. Moving the ball forward with the power and creativity he was completely lacking last season. Him and Aurier seemed to have some chemistry on the right side.

He’s been doing little things like that all season.

There was a rumor, which was later proven to be untrue, that NYCFC had considered playing a playoff game at Rutgers if the Yankees got to the world series, god I wish that ended up being true

  20. That first touch was unreal. I jumped off the couch and squealed when it happened

  21. The cross was actually really good as well. Eriksen had a slight hesitation in his run or else it would’ve been on the money.

Sissoko had another great flick over Marcelo’s head in that game. Hope he continues that kind of play.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Who is that and what have you done with Sissoko?

I'm sure it'll be Citi Field since they're playing Sunday vs (Austin) Crew or they can become East Hartford FC again. In a perfect world, I'd love to see NYCFC face the Red Bulls for the Knockout Round and the game be played at Red Bull Arena. I'm a Red Bulls supporter and MLS is still trying to push this as a major rivalry (even though DC will always be their #1 rivals). It would bring a lot more attention and drama to that game if it was somehow held at RBA.
