I wish. I wonder if the Crew game will be away or home for us.

So what's everyones opinion on Hope Solo's ban?

My take is that it's incredibly harsh, while she was an incredibly saw loser and I felt that her comments were ridiculous, I think 6 month ban is a bit over the top. Personally I would've thought just a fine would've been ok.

 

she should be able to change her gloves at least twice during her ban.

 

it was a ban by the US themselves right? i would assume it's because this isn't the first, second or third time she's been in hot water. say they're just fed up oh her. might use it as an excuse to phase her out completely.

apparently her contract was terminated altogether.

 

If there was an important game coming up then she wouldn't be banned.

 

That makes sense, she has been problematic a fair few times in the past. Also I had no idea there was a seperate thread for Womens Soccer.

 

Barcelona have signed Jasper Cillessen for some reason.

 

Fully expecting Spurs to be drawn into a group with Real and Dortmund.

 

So will Arsenal get Barcelona or Bayern this year?

Bravo to Manchester City is confirmed and i don't think they are as high on Ter Stegen as they once were. Cillessen is a quality keeper.

 

Didn't think I'd ever see Leicester City in pot 1 of the champions league, but here we are

 

eh i think cillessen is average at best. i was terrified we would sign him last year when it looked like de gea was going.
