With Minnesota joining MLS, it's time to make an MLS push for my beloved Des Moines Menace

 

An injury prone defender, he'll fit right in. Hopefully the move will pan out though, I'd hope we'll get a % of the transfer if we were sensible and put a sell on clause in his move years ago.

expected to lose the leg and go through, but expected to score. expected janko to be garbage and by all accounts he was. expected gordon to make another mistake and by all accounts he did, but he saved a penalty so fair balls.

a new right back and a creative central mid who can push the tempo for 90 minutes are needed. hopefully de vries turns out to be better than gordon and takes the goalie spot too.

good to be back though, been too long and thought at the start of the season that there was nothing rodgers could do to get this squad into the group stages.

Reading Festival from today until Monday, so I've made some complete guesses for FPL. Wish me luck.

 

I guess I'm old because there's 2 bands I'd want to see at Reading fest. Music these days is terrible.

 

I think that says more about the indie and dance direction Reading has taken over the past 10 years. Each year I look at their lineup I see a number of bands I'd like to see but not enough to justify paying the £200 odd quid it costs now. I'd much rather do smaller festivals like Slam Dunk or 2000 Trees, pay less and see more bands catered to my tastes.
