The ref in the Germany-Zimbabwe game is atrocious.

I would say probably not, but Wenger recently refused to comment and gave his knowing smile, so still probably not.

Pics from the game last time; pretty awesome event. 64,101 people at a stadium in Minnesota, for a soccer game; crazy

Brazil/South Africa has been pretty exciting to start. And Honduras/Algeria could easily be 3-3 if not for two crossbars.

I can't believe Fabian Castillo sold for only $3 million to a mid-level Turkish team. How disappointing for MLS.

    Nigeria-Japan is insane.

Now I'm not someone who exaggerates, so you can believe me when i say that after winning 8-0 this evening I honestly can't see anyone but Arsenal winning the league this season.

Imagine the scenes if a Rafa led Newcastle finished mid table.

I can get on board with back-to-back relegations for Newcastle.

Preston start their season in an hour a half! Away at Reading, who are managed by the terrifying Jaap Stam now. Tough first game to begin with.

The ref in the Rangers match is absolutely hilariously bad.

Blackburn are getting off to a flyer this season, 2-0 down at home within 20mins.

Preston 1-0 down and have managed a quite remarkable 19% possession in the first half. Fantastic effort.

Grant Ward with 2 goals since coming on at half-time, great signing. McGoldrick converts a penalty and we're 3-1 up against Barnsley.

Changed my mind on Messi's hair. Love it now. Just had to settle in. A lot like Ramsey's.

It's obviously inspired by Abby Wambach.

Man the LFC v Barca match was crazy. Funny both clubs are 5 time European Champions, both have won it in London, Paris, and Rome. Both have won the treble in Rome's Olympic Stadium. As well both have defeated either teams arch rivals in the final; Liverpool winning it over Real Madrid in 1981 and Barcelona taking down Man Utd 30 years later in 2011, in addition to in 2009 of course.

Anyway, it sounds like it was great time over at Wembley.
