Time for goal line technology in MLS.

Going by the reaction on Twitter it sounds like SKC's coaches are reffing the game as FCD have had about 2 no calls on penalties and 2 disallowed goals including the above.

Fuck MLS officiating. Worst in the world.

I can't wait to see LeBron play in MLS along CR7 and Robbie Keane.

Predictions for tonight? I hear hodgson is making 6 changes which is pretty bold but as long as 2 of them are Kane and sterling I'll be happy.

I'll go England 1.0 but a step back in performance from the first two games

1-1 with all those changes. Sure rest a couple of players, but 6 is just unneccessary and asking for trouble.

Yeah, Hodgson is taking a massive risk there, pretty worried about it.

Especially when two of the rumoured are Rooney and Walker, far and away our two best players so far. I also don't agree with the logic that both of Sturridge and Vardy MUST start this game just because they came off the bench to score against Wales.

i only saw the game against wales, wouldn't say rooney was spectacular in that...

We collapsed against Russia after he was taken off, and I think he was one of our better performers against Wales. I don't know, just seems a strange decision.

Adidas were also left red-faced when one of their Beau Jeufootballs burst when Antoine Griezmann was challenged by Valon Behrami. One of Griezmann’s studs appeared to put a hole in the ball. The balls retail at £105.

In a statement, Adidas said: “We are looking into what happened. Incidents of this nature are extremely rare. The reason for the tear has not yet been identified but Beau Jeu has been widely praised by respected experts for its contribution to the exciting start to the tournament.”

    top banter adidas.

Rooney is such a marmite footballer but I think he adds calmness (!) and control and experience to that midfield. Agree that he walker (and probably lalanna- although he faded in both games) have been our best players. I heard today that a win guarantees we play in the Paris area against a third place finisher and importantly well away from Marseille .... So I hope the gamble pays off

I agree, I'd say Rooney has been our second best player behind Walker so far. It's damning with faint praise a bit, because nobody has really shone, but he's been a composed and influencing figure in the middle.

im just going by his performances in midfield for united, surely ye have someone better? i mean he was good in the fa cup final, but anonymous for a large part of it. again, didn't watch russia and only barely watched the welsh game in work I couldn't fathom that he's that important for ye.

woah both full backs out for clyne and bertrand? that's a risk imo.

Rooney is rubbish midfield lads. Just a few cross field balls and wayward passes. Get Jack the Lad in there.

The only other player we have who could play somewhat similar to him is Wilshere, the rest of our midfield is basically a lot of graft, but no actual quality (Henderson, Milner), or nowhere near good enough defensively (Alli, Barkley). We need somebody in between Dier and Alli, and I think he's our only midfielder who can basically do everything - even if he is pretty average at all of it.

According to Pogba's agent, talks have begun with Real Madrid.

Aside from the main obvious reason, that's an awful signing because he hasn't played professional football in four years.
