al-Sisi's shift towards alliance with Iran, Russia, Syria, etc. continues to surprise me, and to frame an attack as solidarity with Christians no less...wild. Can't believe his purported nationalism is actually living up to its word. I'm still skeptical, but this is could be a different kind of hope for the region. I thought for sure in 2013 that Egypt was going to be another Saud/US puppet. If there is such a thing as a silver lining in MENA this must be about as close as one can get.

I don't generally feel the need to boycott individual Israeli citizens as part of BDS but she was in the IDF and thinks the IDF is Very Good so nah, too bad
