Considering how indifferently I've felt about past MMF music, as well as how little I liked Matty's solo stuff, this song was enjoyably solid. The bridge was the only part of the song where the lyrics transformed from passionate into self-congratulatory. Otherwise I'll surely check the album out if there's a premiere stream somewhere.
Interested and it sounds like less chugging so I'm onboard but I also purchased their last albums so maybe I am just a fan?
Lol after listening to that. All he's singing about is what he used to be and all the shit he's gotten for changing lyrical content..? Where's the rest of the band. It's just the Matty show now eh.
Every time I give this band a minute of my time, it's the same effect you get when you click to see the comments section of a political story.
Weirdly high production value for a lyric video. The song makes my soul cringe also. Why does Matty seem to think continuously telling the world he's profound actually constitutes being profound?
I love this song and i don't get all the hate. Good hook, some cool heavy parts and the music is a bit more interesting than the last album. I also have no problem with the lyrical content and in fact I admire his convictions here.
