One review I read said Schwartzman walked to a mic mid film and asked Driver’s onscreen character a question. I’m expecting Schwartzman to tour with the film, exhaustively performing the task hundreds of times per day.
It’s probably the best case scenario honestly. Movie would end up bombing either way, but at least people are talking about it and might see it for themselves now. But it still hasn’t even gotten US distribution, right?
not to mention from everything I've read it's also (hopefully) a total indictment on how fucked up modern hierarchical society and the ruling class is. you're not getting that funded and/or praised by its main beneficiaries
I watched Jack so many times as a kid. Looking back, it is as awful as everyone says but Williams really does try his best.
If Roman Coppola counts, I watched his filmed 2 Dollar Bill concert of The Strokes last night and it is still great.
