Love all the little drawings and the captions. The Spice Girls one made me laugh haha. Have only skimmed through it so far but when I have more extra time I'll read through it more.

I’ve been revisiting Sorry a ton over the past couple weeks. The two records have been getting about equal play from me.

 

I still love Sorry (and the two EPs), don't get me wrong, but I still think this is her strongest release to date. Like 2/3 of the tracks are some of her best material to date imo.

 

call me a hipster but I still like Make A Shadow EP the best

 

Go and Heart Heart Head are tops for sure, but the other 3 songs ended up on Sorry anyway lol.

 

Although that EP was my introduction to her back in 2014 haha

 

Yeah same. I know that 3 of them are on Sorry, but I like the EP best as a total collection of songs.

 

Yeah it's definitely a strong release as a whole. I'm usually partial to full length releases as opposed to EPs though.

 

That is when it comes rankings, not in appreciation. I do feel her two EPs, especially combined, were stronger than Sorry. I'd probably still rank TMTDD first though haha

 

Spending the evening with TMTTD and my god, this album gets better with each listen and my favourite track changes pretty much each time. Meg has such a ridiculous ear for melody, and her voice never fails to drive it home. Especially digging “I’m Not Sorry” this time around.

 

Her vocals on the latter half of that song are fantastic. She nailed it live too.

 

Man, I really like I'm Not Sorry musically, but the STAY STAY STAY STAY STAY STAY STAY WITH ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME part really grates on me.

 

Ehh it doesn't really bother me haha. Maybe it did a little at first but it grew on me. Seeing it live before the album was released may have helped haha.

 

The entire album is great from start to finish imo but I think my favorite song is down between Some People, Funeral, and Constant. Done and Jealous Sea not too far behind.

 

My local Alternative station's signed guitar of the month is autographed by her haha definitely entering that contest. Not that I haven't met her and have a handful of autographed items already though haha

 

Alright, I gotta admit that this album is really good

 

As much as I liked the singles released before the album they honestly ended up being some of my least favorites on it.

 

I feel that way about the other ones, but I still think Numb is one of the best.

 

For me it's Jealous Sea that stacks up the best with the non-singles.

 

I agree that the singles didn't prepare me for the album
