Was really excited for her last one and didn't end up loving it. Cautiously excited for this one, just pressing play now. Edit: S'Ok..
Her four upcoming small venue shows next month have all sold out already. Thankfully my sister was able to snag a few tickets to her NYC show, so I'll be heading down there next month.
I definitely didn’t expect tix to go that quickly and am kicking myself right now. Oh well. Hopefully she follows up with a bigger tour
On her website: On Tour! Meg will set out on tour for a very special run of intimate shows in select cities before embarking on a major worldwide tour this fall. Initial tour dates below, with more to follow.
Just annoucned she'll be playing at San Diego's X-Fest along with Beck, Death Cab For Cutie, Joywave, The Struts, Moon Taxi, and Mansionair on August 11th.
It holds up with the best tracks off of Sorry. Can't wait for the rest of the album. Seeing her live for the first time next month!
Second single, the title track "Take Me to the Disco" is out tomorrow, although is available now to those of us that pre-ordered the album via pledgemusic. Has a bit of a Tori Amos vibe to it, if you ask me.
Was super into her EP's but totally lost me with Sorry. Numb is fucking great though. Gona check this out
