Sting got kinda boring when he got obsessed with tantra and ancient sex rituals. Maybe she'll do the opposite and get fuckin' awesome? One can hope.
Woo! I wonder what direction they're taking for the album. That string of singles they put out in 2021/22 didn't do much for me, too many ballads.
I'm shocked that these guys aren't touring more or haven't been apart of any of the 2000s emo/scene resurgence festivals/tours. Like them and Veronica's should've done a tour
I dont know how WWWY hasnt snagged them in 3 years. Especially a Something Real album play this year would've been perfect.
It’s BAFFLING to me how many people clamor for them to play Something Real in full or emphasize it’s songs in a set when Here Here and Here is such a complete quantum leap forward in every single way
Yes yes yes Here Here and Here is definitely my favorite of the two Tho surprisingly I also really really really like Happysad
Hey I just suggested it would generate buzz, but never said it was my favorite! Here, Here and Here is far and away their best album. I think the title track may be my favorite song from them too.
Sorry not aimed at you. You just made me remember people at the HappySad tour clamoring all.damn.show. for "Monster", like they weren't going to close with it.
It really makes me sad to see the massive difference in streaming numbers Monster has compared to their second, third and forth most steamed songs. If people love the song so much why don’t they dive just a tad bit deeper into their catalog. If you like Monster you’re bound to like Fighting for Nothing at the very least!
And "Fighting for Nothing" has Dia's all-time-best vocal performance, while "Monster", and all of Something Real really, has lots of charm fighting past BAD production and a pretty weak lead guitarist. Finding Carlo was the best thing that ever happened to this band.
How do they have 270k monthly listeners on Spotify? I never hear anybody talking about them. Did they get big on tiktok or something?
