Is there a reason “Monster” has so many fucking plays on Spotify? I’m guessing it got sampled in something or played on some show?

 

Skrillex did a remix of it like 10 years ago which really boosted the streams of the original.

I get it, though. The streaming numbers that song does is insane compared to the rest of their discography. I just wish more people checked out their other stuff as well.

 

It's funny - they performed at my university a ton back in 2005. I fucking loved this little album they had (don't think it's on streaming). I never listened to anything after this.

i guess was really into their acoustic sound at the time. Saw them play so many times in tiny rooms. Then they had the full heavier band sound and it just didn't speak to me as much *shrug

 

I loooooooove them but I’ve never been able to click with that album. Just too unpolished for me, both musically and vocally.

 

check out Cocoon, it’s their best album and has a decent amount of acoustic / chill stuff

 

Yeah I was going to reccomend Cocoon as well. It's probably my least favorite, but it fits what @Dog Fish seems to like the most

 

Feels like they're just gonna release a single every month and then once all 12 are out just release them all together on physical as an album.
