Holy shit didn’t see this coming.

Unfortunately I don’t think I like most of it ...they went for like a modern pop sound and it’s just not workin for me. That closing track though IS THE GOOD SHIT.

I was just about to go to bed too. NOPE gonna stay up and soak this album in!

 

Wow this sounds so different than Something Real. But I like it!

My favorites right now are Dear Heart, Koala and American Heart.

 

Echoing the solid return comment. So glad they're back at it together.

 

I think it's wild that there's a dubstep version of Monster and they play it during the interludes between games for professional League of Legends

I'm pretty into it. I do wish there was some diversity though. We were pretty spoiled by that with Here, Here and Here.

 

Yeah nothing's going to touch Cocoon or Here, Here, and Here, but I'm also not expecting that either.

I honestly think they make this transition incredibly well. And wasn't surprised they did it, either, given some of what Dia's been doing solo in the interim and the fact that trying to get a whole band together to record live instruments in their situation was probably never happening, logistically.

 

Cocoon is GOAT.

 

I've never listened to Cocoon, I'll have to dive into that soon.
