This feels like a bad faith argument. They still do the regular Live Nation venues in major markets. This is clearly a B/C-market tour as they ramp back up for a big fall tour, I'm sure.
That’s more you not paying attention than them not being relevant. They were pretty active before covid and have been releasing some of the best music of there career while playing similar sized venues that they’ve played throughout their career. This is obviously a smaller market tour.
Yeah their venue size has stayed pretty consistent. Not big but not small either. I live in Destin, FL and I don’t even think I’d call this a C market with how small it is here and the type of demographic here is older retired southern rooted people so
Remind me how playing near 1000 capacity venues and some huge festivals is somehow a bad thing for a band 15 years into their career?
