Kind of feeling the same way on first listen, but I'll give it some more time to grow on me.

Super stoked on this album after hearing this song. I feel like it's a good throwback to older Mayday.

Be excellent to each other! Supporter

These lyrics are terrible.... the first song was so solid and this is just... liquid?

Losing me more and more. 0-2. Guess I’m just not into this band anymore.

0-2... was happy with the direction they were headed in with the last album. Wish they continued on that.

Right there with you. I’m all for bands changing and improving their sound but I feel like this is a step back into their sound they’ve had on every single album besides Black Lines. Which is fine if that’s what they want to do. Just hope they’re not doing it because of fans. And unfortunately this step loses me for this album cycle.

Think this is my problem with these past two songs... the band in general.

    hopelessly yours, Alabama

Yeah, this song isn't awful but it's definitely a regression. I hope more songs on the album lean more Black Lines.

    probably over-caffeinated. Supporter

This is okay as a whole. Lyrics are pretty forgettable, except for the chorus of "I only love you for the heartbreak." That one's pretty easy to relate to for me right now, so I think I'm 2/2 on this. Agree that Black Lines is the direction I hope they continue in.
  19. the two songs they've released are probably the worst two on the album

Ahhh this makes me so happy. Does he sing with some angst on this record?
