I don’t have anything else cerebral or insightful to add onto what people have already said about this but this was amazing

Sometimes, Netflix puts out movies that are really great. Sometimes.

Oooo I wanted RDJ to win after seeing Oppenheimer but now I have to take that back for Charles Melton, he was way too good.

  5. Good movie. Echoing the praise for Melton. Really nails the performance of a character that had to grow up too soon but also never fully grew up. Devastating.

Just when I thought Sandra Hüller was a lock for my favorite performance of the year, Natalie Portman and Charles Melton came in to give her a run for her money. This was fantastic all around.

This was good. Great performances, but beyond that I didn't feel like it had a whole lot to say and was ultimately kind of forgettable.

The music in this was so absurdly distracting. Anyone else get that? Otherwise, it was fantastic.

It struck me as a very self-aware choice: it matched the vibe of the kind of Lifetime made-for-tv melodrama that would normally accompany a movie like the kind Portman’s character was acting in

The score was one of my favorite parts. The movie would not work without it.
