Very excited for the tour. Have no expectations at all for the album, based on recent Rob solo stuff.
Between this announcement and Subtract it’s been quite a morning. I’ve actually liked Rob’s recent releases as well. I’m traveling a ton this summer and am bummed as I won’t be able to make my local show here in Phoenix. I’m definitely going to try and swing another date at some point.
Looking forward to listening to the new single today and am even more excited to know there’s an album to follow. I’m also very happy with the openers for the Summer tour. I’ll most likely be going to two dates, LA and Chicago, which looks like I’ll be seeing both Matt Nathanson and Ben Rector. Awesome.
Song is fun. I saw them ten years ago now when they were touring North at a venue just about 20 minutes from my house that pretty much never books anything other than Christian bands and high school basketball, with the very very rare WWE house show thrown in. At capacity, for a concert, they can pack about 6,500 in the place. I have never, ever seen the place as full is was for this show. It was a legit, full sell-out. If there were seats on the north end of the arena where they put the stage, they would've sold those, too. It was one of the funnest shows I've ever been to. They were incredible, the entire crowd was dancing. Just such a cool experience.

Another new song. They're really knocking it out of the park with the hooks on these tracks. So psyched for the whole album.
