Was going through vinyl and found Matchbook Romance “Stories and Alibis” and Banquets “Top Button..” both these bands kind of just faded away. I remember when Matchbook signed to Epitaph and an article where Brett Gurewitz mentioned Andrew Jordan and wanting him to do a solo album at some point. That would have been so great after the split with Motion City, Andrew really shines on those two tracks, hidden gems. I find a lot of similarity between Travis and Andrew and miss both their voices. Loved all their work and I know Travis is a teacher on the east coast and I can’t remember if Andrew was a photographer or was a multi media wizard. I wish they both would come back! Anybody know what these two bands are up to? Too much time during quarantine I guess, but want a comeback for both...
