Such an unnecessary loss of life all because some jackass wasn't paying attention while they were driving. Tragic.

 

Listening to Cold Dark Place for the first time in a while, it’s every bit as good as I remembered

 

As much as I love heavy Mastodon, I always hoped they would release some more material like CDP. I think it's some of their finest work. Brent's musical voice really shines through.

 

Just ran through Emperor of Sand on vinyl. Absolutely love Brent’s vocals on Jaguar God.

 

Yeah it’s so melancholic. Hits way harder now.

Can't imagine how difficult it must have been for them to play that show.

 

Really bums me out that his last public words about the band were so bitter. Terrible situation all-around.
