idk how anyone could see that record store scene and not be in love with this. gotta be the most dynamically directed MCU scene ever, that shot of the camera spinning with the vinyl was so sick

 

Yep, record store scene was one of the best shots this season.

 

Also, pretty sure the rumor of Loki becoming the next He Who Remains is true after this episode.

 

The style and way they treat multiversal stuff in this episode reminded me of the confidence Legion had, that’s high praise

 

It certainly felt that way to me.

It got me excited for Secret Wars for the first time in a while. The recent MCU projects weren't making me too excited for it

 

Does the finale go live in an hour on your side of the pond? Thinking of staying up and watching it tonight

I don’t know why I’m expecting something big from this finale, so I’m sure I’m bound to be let down. Which is stupid of me considering how much I’ve loved this season. Anyway, see everyone on the other side!

Great season! Loki low key becoming one of my favorite MCU characters was not what I saw coming.

 

Exactly as the leaks said. So he is now watching over an entire multiverse instead of just the sacred timeline? And allows people to keep their memories?

Best episode of both seasons.

 

really good. probably should rewatch it sober cos I feel like I missed some stuff. but man that shot of all the timeline threads turning into the World Tree was awe inspiring

 

And him finally becoming Loki

 

A nice touch that I'm sure is absolutely intentional: this episode having the same title as the first episode of Season 1.

 

anyone care to explain to my inebriated ass what was happening with Renslayer at the end? my housemate thought she was at the end of time looking at Abeloth but I thought it was hinting she was in a future TVA? maybe the purple light was more Kangs arriving or something

It was definitely the end of time and Alioth. The last time we saw her, she was being pruned.
