So weird, it wasn’t there for me, but I went to the last episode of season one, skipped all the way to the end, and then it started up the next episode. So…that worked.
Loved the first episode. Great to see Ke Huy Quan talking about time and multiverse nonsense again. The closest we’ll get to a EEAAO sequel. The first season had a nice feeling of distance from the overall MCU despite Loki being a reoccurring antagonist. This first episode still had that great feeling.
Going to echo the love for the first episode. On top of that, the camera work felt very fresh and unique compared to other MCU projects.
This episode proves this show is such a clear cut above the rest of the Marvel show productions, and it’s not even close
Digging this so far. Hiddleston is really selling the urgency and his fear of Kang. OB is a great new addition to the cast. Visually pretty fun too.
When he zapped the wall to reveal kangs face i was like "ugh i get it Hiddleston, you're a fantastic actor gawd." haha
Yeah his exasperation and anxiety of what can potentially happen contrasted against the blase attitude of those at the TVA was great
Loki was pretty easily the thing I was least excited for when they announced the post-Endgame slate. Wild how it's probably a top 5 MCU project at this point
this was good and all but I had no fucking idea what was going on for almost all of it lol. me and my housemate both watched the recap and were both completely lost Benson and Moorhead directed the shit outta it though, as if there was any doubt. they're the best Marvel addition in a long long time
Oh. That makes sense then. I’ll watch it when I get home from a late dinner. I don’t know why I thought it came out on Thursday. Like, technically last night, in my head. I watched the first episode on Saturday or Sunday haha
I like how Owen Wilson is here just Owen Wilsoning it up and it just fits in so well. He’s my favorite part of this. It’s kinda like that in everything he’s in.
Oh man, that was a great fucking episode. Once again, Tom Hiddleston proving he’s the best actor in the MCU by a country mile.
