I don't get why they didn't advertise "THE FINAL SEASON" on any of the other canceled Marvel shows. Surely Netflix knew that ahead of time

 

I'm not sure... Luke Cage definitely set up a third season. I don't think they would have known at the point of filming that. DD3 had a bit more closure.

I suppose now that the cat is out of the bag, they might as well market it as such, whereas with the others it may have been more of a marketing own goal than a positive influence on viewership.

 

I don't know for sure if they were still negotiating during those periods or they knew marvel was definitely gone or not.

 

From what I remember it sounded like they had started writing stuff for another season of DD? It didn't seem like Netflix gave anybody involved a heads up if they were planning to cancel regardless

 

Yea, you're not right. The director said he was writing the next season of daredevil and apparently it was going really awesome when he got the call that it was over.

 

JJ was also cancelled before the third season aired, all of the other shows were cancelled right after release, so it makes more sense that this gets a chance to be marketed as a final season.

Anyways, definitely here for it. I know daredevil has been more consistent but this may be my favorite one of the marvel shows based on S1 alone.

 

Daredevil was 100% planning on a season 4. I'm still super pissed Netflix robbed us of a proper Daredevil v Bullseye season.

That being said, I'm looking forward to seeing how JJ bounces back from its season 2.

Is it too much to think that the other 3 heroes will show up maybe for just 1 ep or something so there can be a little bit of closure?

Also if I'm dreaming...since they set up Bullseye getting all fixed up, he should pop back in. He was a lot of fun!

 

It's gonna be a tough season knowing that it's the end. I wonder if they will wrap it all up or if it was too late to make any adjustments like that and we might potentially see a carry over to Disney+

 

I have middling expectations.

 

Man I still need to watch punisher

 

I still need to watch Punisher S2 too lol, I just finally got around to the last season of Daredevil like three weeks ago

 

I need to see LC S2, Punisher S2 and JJ S2 still

Haven't watched either Iron Fist season and have no interest

 

I’m with all of you lol

 

I really enjoyed all of them, especially Luke Cage S2 and Daredevil S3. But once it was announced they were done I kinda just feel like what’s the point? Especially since they didn’t plan for it to be the end when that shot these seasons

 

So close to shutting off episode 2 of this season and skipping to the next

Trish episode and probably my least favorite episode in the entirety of the Netflix shows

 

I watched the first episode at the gym earlier and watched the recap. Holy shit I don’t remember any of that. Remember trish wanting to be experimented on. Don’t remember trish killing Jessica’s mom.

 

I just realized I never finished Punisher season 2. Other than that, I'm caught up with everything. Then I'll watch JJ.

 

I never started it. I used to be so hyped for these shows but once they canceled daredevil I lost all interest. Made me feel like what’s the point
