I'm hyped for this. Game looks great.

Xbox and PC players are PISSED. Definitely an odd move but not abnormal for Sony (see D2 exclusives, though those were timed).

Will Microsoft try to get exclusive rights to a character?

 

Shitty move. If I had it preordered on PC or Xbox I would immediately cancel any money I had on the game. Making a character as big as Spider-Man a console exclusive? I hope this blows up in their face so bad.

 

Playstation players are pissed too. Any video game fan should be pissed. This is a shitty practice.

Sony definitely paid some *serious* cash for this, very much doubt this CAN be walked back.

 

Yeah, but maybe they’ll make it timed. and change the normal number of months/years on exclusivity to less than usual. Definitely a lot of people pissed off it seems.

 

they’d likely have to give Sony a portion of its money back if that were to happen, which sounds like a logistical nightmare

 

I preordered this a while back, the beta still happening this weekend?

 

Only on PS4 this week. Next week people who preordered on Xbox and PC will get in.

This game sounds so ridiculous with paid content

 

The beta source code shows mention of War Machine, Kate Bishop, and She-Hulk.

 

i’m 30 min into the beta and it plays like..... god of war?

I don't think I really like this based on the beta. The interface is pretty clunky on console (I'm sure it feels fine on PC though) and the gameplay feels kind of awkward. I really dug how Kamala and Cap played (for the all of 2 minutes you could use him in the beta), but everyone else has something that just feels off. Iron Man and Hulk especially don't play very well IMO.

 

the more combative heroes felt 100000x smoother. Kamala, Cap and Black Widow, even Thor for the minute or so felt so much better than Iron Man and Hulk

 

Black Widow has definitely felt the best so far. The combos are fun.
