    Ugh Chloe.
I hate everything about the back half of this season.
    In a good way.
    Too emotionally invested.
    Ugh.

    forbidden chalice.

This half of the season is so stressful because I don't know who to root for. I want SHIELD to win but I also want Daisy to be safe.

I mean they'll probably find a way to fix everything but it's still nerve wracking.

Also, with Daisy's vision of someone on the team dying, she doesnt know WHO will die, right? May be Hive will die, because technically, Hive IS her team as of right now.

I'm enjoying this show more than Arrow and Flash at the moment

I gave up on this show a few episodes into season 1. I watched all of season 2 and this season as it aired. I just cannot get too into the show. It doesn't hold my attention for some reason. I'm still sticking it out but I feel like why do I bother. Don't know what's wrong with it for me.

  5. I feel like I should've been more sad about Lash/Andrew dying but I was too busy getting teary-eyed over Daisy being freed. Good episode, the whole thing with Lincoln was great. I keep saying this because it's true, I don't think I'm as emotionally invested in any other show that's on right now.

I haven't seen Civil War yet, but the tie-in didn't feel all that game-changing, just people wanting to catalog the Inhumans or something.

MY GOSH was the Jesus symbolism strong with the end of this episode. I expected the death to be either Fitz or Lincoln; looks like I was right about the latter. He was easily the most expendable, but while I would have hated to lose Fitz, that would have been a bigger emotional moment. Just... thank goodness it was neither Mack nor Yo-Yo. Hive looked AMAZING during the one scene they chose to have him take his true form.

The set-up for next season was... interesting. I have a personal theory/hope for what the final scene is setting up, but I'm not gonna let myself make that unjustified leap and get myself needlessly excited.

  8. Chloe was so good in the finale. Those facial expressions. My heart can't take it.

Brett Dalton was also really good as Hive. I'm glad he stayed on after Ward died.

Great season finale. Had a feeling it was going to be Lincoln, but man did they tease us a few times haha
Don't really know what to make of the ending yet.

Edit:Also, those mutated guys are so Whedon-esque. I love it, haha.

During a Q&A session at Wizard World Des Moines this weekend, theS.H.I.E.L.D. star was asked why Tony Stark or Steve Rogers haven’t dropped by to help fight Hive, an evil ancient Inhuman. “I don’t know,” Bennet replied, “People who make movies for Marvel, why don’t you acknowledge what happens on our show? Why don’t you guys go ask them that? Because they don’t seem to care!” Extra fuel was thrown into the fire when she later added, “The Marvel Cinematic Universe loves to pretend that everything is connected, but then they don’t acknowledge our show at all. So, I would love to [appear in a Marvel movie], but they don’t seem too keen on that idea.”

It's probably easier for the television department to address the movies than it is for, say, Civil War to address SHIELD and Daredevil and whatnot. Though, part of me does wonder how all that stuff works. The television department was never under Feige (except that he had a producer credit on Agent Carter), and Marvel Television is still under Perlmutter, while Marvel Studios isn't.

What's your personal theory on season four?

Not much for me to add that hasn't already been said, good finale. I really liked Brett Dalton as Hive and will miss seeing him on the show. I wonder if Bobby and Hunter will return to this series now that Marvel's Most Wanted is DOA

I honestly wonder if they're just going to find a way to keep Brett Dalton on the show. Like the original Hydra agent Ward's brain downloaded into an LMD or some shit. Although it would seem really bullshit and cheap to bring him back like that at first, if they just keep killing his LMD all the time as a recurring thing where he just exists to stalk Daisy and it eventually drives her nuts it could be kind of interesting.

    I do not exist.

I am constantly annoyed that this isn't on the UK Netflix.

Just finished season three. That was easily the best iteration of Ward.

omg omg omg I loved this story.

When a blazing chain was used for the first bit of promotional material for the fourth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., people began to speculate that it could mean Ghost Rider was going to be introduced. Of course, a far more likely explanation was that the chain belonged to James “J.T.” Taylor/Hellfire, and the Aussie Inhuman was being lined up for a larger role next season.

Then, earlier today we brought you the news that Marvel was looking to cast two Latino brothers; one "always the most dangerous person in the room", the other wheelchair-bound. Not being a GR fan, that didn't ring any bells - but ComicBook.comhas pointed out how similar that sounds to Robbie and Gabe Reyes from the 2014 Marvel NOW! Ghost Rider series. In that run, Robbie is the one that gains the powers of the Spirit of Vengeance, but still maintains a close bond with his disabled little brother.

I have the first trade but haven't read it yet, but I always really liked the premise. I'm so down for this if true.

Looks like we are getting classic Inhumans too. I doubt we get the Royal Family, but I'd love to see Crystal and Karnak.

In the aftermath of their journey to another planet, Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the rest of the team were driven more than ever to put an end to the Hydra organization. Little did they know that they were up against the deadliest threat they’ve ever faced – an extremely powerful Inhuman, Hive, who was transported back from Maveth in the body of their worst enemy, Grant Ward. The team was able to thwart and kill Hive and take down Hydra, but they are all still mourning the death of fellow agent and Inhuman, Lincoln Campbell.

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director (Jason O’Mara) to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack (Henry Simmons), and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. They have been trying to track down and capture Daisy (Chloe Bennet), aka Quake, who has gone rogue in an attempt to atone for sins from the past. But with the world believing that Daisy is a dangerous outlaw who has taken down banks and bridges, the new Director has no qualms about taking her down for good. Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have taken a big step forward in their relationship. But with Simmons’ new promotion as Special Advisor to the Director in Science and Technology, Fitz, as well as her former team members, finds it hard to confide in or trust her since she’s now the Director’s confidant.

Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna) will roar into the lives of Agent Coulson and the team as a junkyard mechanic who can turn on a dime into the terrifying Ghost Rider. Will Robbie be a friend or foe to S.H.I.E.L.D. – as well as the world, itself? Meanwhile, Fitz discovers that socially awkward genius and friend Dr. Radcliffe (John Hannah) has started putting the finishing touches on a new, secret invention.

The Sokovia Accords are a retroactively obvious explanation for Daisy being on the run. I'm super excited for more of her, May, Mack, and FitzSimmons. Also totally hyped for this iteration of Ghost Rider on this show.

Between this, Supergirl, and the Flash, I can't wait for fall television. (Plus Luke Cage! Legion in the spring also looks great.) I'm ready for comic book television back into my life.
