Yeah that would have worked perfectly I think. I really can’t imagine what’s going to happen now

 

I was thinking about that during the entire last scene.. I was hoping he'd randomly show up and they'd be left with a cliffhanger OR use it for a moving moment to reveal that Simmons must be pregnant.

 

Yeah wherever they go from here will be totally unexpected. I do hope they can get Hunter and Bobbi back for the next season though

 

I was really expecting them to tie into Infinity War. I'm kind of glad they didn't.

I don't know why I didn't react emotionally as strongly to this finale as I feel like I should have.

 

Whatever happens, I just really hope they don’t make “Jemma hiding what happened to the dead Fitz from frozen Fitz” a plot point. I assume they literally can’t, because they’ll have to explain what happened when he wakes up, but you never know.

 

So, will Coulson really die off screen between seasons? Doesn’t seem right. Yeah, that ending was emotional as hell, but is Clark Gregg actually done with the show?

I can’t help but think that as perfect that scene was, it still does just enough to maybe bring him back. If Clark hasn’t officially left, of course.

 

Has he said he is done?

That renewal isn't even for THIS summer. They just got renewed for summer 2020, so we're guaranteed at least two more seasons.

Stoked. Show has been very consistently good for awhile now

 

This is definitely my favorite Marvel show. I'm glad we go into this season knowing it's definitely not the last.

 

I still need to finish last season. I got most of the way through the world blowing up stuff

 

I got really tired of following so many shows at once; I've really slowed down my TV-watching in the past nine or so months. This might be the one show I'd watch weekly this season.

 

this is the one show I will always make time for because it's so consistently surprising and reinvents itself in such fascinating ways

having said that I fell way behind and watched seasons 2-4 in the space of like a month and I regret nothing, it was a really great month

 

Decided I wanted to start watching the Marvel shows after seeing Endgame, so I started with the pilot of this the other day. I've heard season 1 is a little rough but really picks up in the following seasons.

 

Wow can't believe this is back next week!

S1 is really bad until you get to where all of the Winter Soldier stuff happens

S2-S5 are all great though

 

Yeah that seems to be the consensus from what I've read. Excited to dive into the Marvel TV world!
