They just announced the new black panther is David Jonsson (Long Walk/Alien Romulus) and will be playing an older version of the kid T'Challa from Wakanda Forever.

First news I’ve been excited about. He was great in The Long Walk.

If there’s a director that has that kind of clout, it’s him.

  16. If that’s really it, kind of a disappointment. I know they have D23 but announcing what will almost certainly be a terrible film and one cast member on a movie we already knew was happening is lackluster.

    Doomsday: slop, whatever, don’t care.

Ghost Rider: Ryan Gosling in a straightforward solo movie could be fun. Though the director choice, as much as it makes sense contextually, makes me care significantly less.

Black Panther: If that’s true that Coogler is using his clout to shoot on film, that rules. Only post BND Marvel movie I’m excited for at the moment.

I bet there’s X-Men stuff they could say that they’re holding onto because they don’t wanna admit who Sadie Sink is playing for another week, lol.

So many people pissed off that there weren't more announcements, but I get it, and Ghost Rider and Black Panther III are great and very cool.

Surprised they didn't say more about Denzel or give a date for Ghost Rider. The latter has some unfortunate Blade vibes but I have more faith Ghost Rider will get done.

Low key wonder if they'll acknowledge Agents Of SHIELD.

Also I guess all the people thinking X-Men would be right after Secret Wars are seething right now.

At least Ghost Rider has a director and release year. That gives me more confidence than the Blade announcement

I’ve never been a big Ghost Rider fan, but if anyone can get me interested in that character it’s Gosling.

Jonsonn as the new BP and Coogler shooting on film are the highlights for me.

The Doomsday panel feel like a lot of…eh. They brought 15 actors but barely any of them talked. I miss the the Q&A panels.

NGL it's actually pretty good. Though a lot of that is probably because of the locales it explores. Story itself is relatively repetitive as zombie stories can often be.
