Because of the way tweets embed here. I’m pretty sure an X url embedded into a post gives them no more of a “click” than an “xcancel” url, except the poster then has to click through. Which makes intentionally posting “xcancel” here silly imo. Unless it’s one of those obnoxious really long posts that verified accounts can do, I guess? I do support caring more about ice cream than a post about Marvel, though.
