Is it just me or are the dialogue levels in this Punisher special really low in the mix? Feels extremely quiet.
This was fun and dark but I walked away with more questions than answers. When did this take place? Didn't the Gnucci thing happen in Season 1? This makes it sound like it happened not long after but I thought this was after Season 2? Where's the real Curtis? And why is this left so open ended with both Ma and Barracuda alive? Is this going to lead to a new show/film? How does this intersect with Born Again? Or BND for that matter?
Per director: "There are certain things that take place, technically, after 'Daredevil' and before 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day.' It happens in between. There's a specific timeline for the release of this."
They really should do a War Journal show for Punisher, like every episode is a self-contained story about Punisher doing Punisher shit.
Using a Hatebreed song in a fight sequence is the most bro thing ever and I’m here for it. Overall that was really fun, definitely dark as hell but that entire second half was a rollercoaster ride of pure violence and I’m surprised Disney even let them go that far with it.
damn, the last twenty minutes of this was fucking nuts. dude didn't even use any of his own weapons, just picked up all the shit that was dropped by the guys he killed haha but that's not to downplay how good the first half is. even in the quieter scenes, Jon Bernthal plays this character with such great intensity, you can really feel how tortured a soul Frank is.
When he put that guy through the glass container in the store then dragged his neck over the glass, yeesh
