I get why people do it but I hate the environment that incentivizes people to ethic/sane wash corporations who fuck over human beings, even to the point that you have to be gracious and avoid using any remotely negative terminology, like “fired”, avoid discussing the action in a way where the corporation is in active tense (“I was impacted by the realignment”), and avoid any word or sentiment that could frame the corporation in any active or negative light.

do i need to finish xmen to watch xmen 97? it's been kinda a slog so i stopped for a while. i think i'm like halfway through.
I’m sure if you watched it all, you’d appreciate it. But I watched ‘97 with only my 30 year old memories of the show and general comic book knowledge and enjoyed it just fine.
