https://www.ign.com/articles/sam-ra...eter-parker-and-mary-jane-have-gone-elsewhere Sam Raimi says there’s no chance of Spider-Man 4 and that his version of Peter and MJ have “gone elsewhere” My guess would be that either the Raimi world is destroyed in Doomsday (Tobey is saved by TVA) or the Raimi world becomes one with the mainline MCU world after Secret Wars and Raimi has no interest in making a 4th film under those circumstances
I think he's just talking about things that happened in No Way Home making whatever plans he had in Spider-Man 4 untenable.
He said he would like to make a SM4 for a while after NWH released and after saying he watched it. He only just now switched up his stance on making SM4 which makes me believe it’s due to Doomsday/Secret Wars
Obligatory "I don't believe anything out of that guy's mouth", but if they're truly devoted to bringing everyone back, then Elektra and The Hand is a no brainer.
Rumors suggest we will see the Hand in Brand New Day which may give us an idea of how the MCU is going to handle them in S3
I enjoy speculation as much as the next, but I can't properly express how much I detest these "spoiler culture" nerds peddling their wares. It dominates the conversation and pollutes expectations. If I could Thanos snap the lot of them out of existence, I would.
It’s generally people just enjoying the conversations as they wait for the films to release. I think it’s pretty harmless. If people raise their expectations to high levels due to rumors then that’s on them
Watched the first two episodes and so far it doesn't feel very much like a Marvel show to me, just an actor with big ideas trying to land his big break. That said, I love the Reality Ensues of Trevor returning to the US and being arrested the minute he gets off the plane because he's still a wanted fugitive.
Watched the first four last night. Definitely the least Marvel feeling thing they’ve done, which has been a nice change of pace. Assuming the back half of the season will get more Marvel-y. Overall I’d say it’s fine so far.
Read ahead out of curiosity and an interesting choice to not make Eric the Grim Reaper or have any big villain of the show at all for that matter and keep the central conflict between Simon, Trevor, and the DODC. Heard the Doorman episode might offer evidence of Cloak and Dagger still being canon, which is exciting if true.
Thought crossing my mind tonight: Feeling like the reason there weren't any leaks surrounding Wonder Man is because there was nothing to leak.
Wonder Man was harmless fun. Nothing all that consequential, which might be a good thing. Would love to see him appear again at some point.
Only halfway through myself. Love the idea of Josh Gad lost in the Dark Dimension and I hope this really is opening the door for Cloak and Dagger to return.
