Yeah, true, Franklin was pretty damn bad at parts.

With The Batman: Part II and Avengers: Secret Wars filming at the same time on different continents, some people are starting to think Bucky may not make it out of Doomsday.

Maybe the real avengers are just the friends we made along the way

Having Sue give birth while they're trying to escape inniment death in a spaceship was pretty wild, I thought.

Even the birth scene felt like it lacked some intensity idk. I feel like everybody was too calm in that movie almost all the time, it was odd

They cut out all the scenes where the Four did hits off the bong before every mission.

I haven't really watched an MCU movie since Endgame besides GOTG3 and Spider-Man but I watched Fantastic Four because I always loved those characters as a kid and I thought it was.... an actively bad movie

I finally watched F4 yesterday as well and it was fine. If anything it felt supremely rushed. I dug the vibe though and how different and lived in the world was but I think everything resolved too quickly/nicely.

If it helps, it's not really resolved. All they did was transport Galactus far the fuck away, he's still out there and no doubt still looking for Franklin.

For sure. Still wasn’t super satisfying for me personally. He kind of just walked a bit got pushed to the portal and we’re done lmao

Tuck, the last time we saw him he was a big cloud. I’ll take him walking a bit as progress lmao

nothing you guys are saying is invalid, I should be clear on that. just didn't work for me overall! felt like a wasted opportunity to do cooler stuff with Ralph being a great fit vocally for Galactus. Best part honestly was Johnny being like "wtf?" when he sniffed the trees.

I think ultimately I'm kind of tired of everything being more or less a set up movie, but that's the nature of this machine they've created, and obviously there's only so much they can do in 2 hours for each movie in this massively interconnected story. Just sucks because I used to be a really big fan of the MCU but it hasn't quite captured the magic for me that it had in the lead up to IW and Endgame. I'll still be seated for Brand New Day and Doomsday so clearly I'm still invested. Anyways, now I'm rambling.

I do wish some Marvel fans held their movies to a higher standard than their Funko POPs. I don’t expect anything that profound or whatever out of cape shit, but like. It doesn’t have to be so “go girl give us nothing.”
