The unfortunate thing is that even if Marvel tried to keep characters this Saga in the conversation by having them guest in different movies, the nature of the Eternals and where this film left them limits where they could appear to cosmic stories like Guardians. And Gunn almost certainly wasn't going to do that.
I still don't get why people hated Eternals so much. It's better than the majority of the previous phase
Post-Endgame, the only better MCU films I can think of are GOTG3, Spider-Man NWH, Shang Chi, F4, and Thunderbolts
Halfway through Season 1 of Agents Of SHIELD and it's just so cool rewatching and picking up on how masterfully they hinted at the "Clarivoyant" and "Centipede" being SHIELD the whole time. Clark Gregg is such a treasure. They should bring them back for fuck's sake.
It depends on how they approach the characters, but I can’t imagine they would go out of their way to recast. Perhaps they are slightly older than in the Hulu series and have already been a team before they become connected to Strange Academy. Minoru would be a teacher anyway. Minoru and Magik could be getting into trouble and Minoru contacts her “friends.” I’d love to see it happen. There are so many corners they could pull from that this show has incredible potential. Put Cloak & Dagger in it as well.
So the latest rumor making the rounds is that there's going to be a third Avengers film, either before or after Secret Wars. It wouldn't be a terrible idea if it helps them wrap up more plotlines.
Man, it's adorable reading old Reddit threads about Agents of SHIELD when people still thought the movies were going to ever reference the show. People thinking Lorelei was going to show up in Thor 3. We were all so naive. I am pleased though rewatching the Kree developments that Captain Marvel didn't interfere with what Agents of SHIELD laid out. Probably by accident.
