I assumed Marvel got cold feet. It’s cool that Scott got a big win, but it did massive damage to the way audiences perceived Kang
And that's dumb. I mean, Infinity War had one of the most mind-blowing endings by having the heroes lose, and lose badly, and that got audiences invested in Endgame to see how it got resolved, so I do not understand the "cold feet" business.
presumably the leader of the team the avengers would be the lead of the movie avengers 5 given the four movies before it
Reed can be the lead of the avengers while Thor still gets more screen time and listed higher on the cast list
not to pit two queens against each other but i loved james gunn’s quotes about the problem with superhero movies recently being starting to shoot before you have a finished story
This is very weird in light of Feige saying they always have a full script, they just never consider it finished because things can change while making the film, which does honestly make sense. But then a report like this happens, although not suggesting DanielRPK is 100% accurate all the time either. And didn't the original Iron Man pride itself on ad-libing like half the dialogue?
i think if you're spending $200 million to make a movie you shouldn't be changing the movie part of the way through. and you should definitely know what your god damn 3rd act is lol
i also think the ad libbing thing mentioned is a result of RDJ specifically. doesn't mean it should be the standard IMO
Also it’s easier to have ideals when you’re at the onset of a massive extended universe, like Gunn is, than when you’re were Feige is. If he is fortunate enough to oversee a successful universe, Gunn is very likely to be adopting current Marvel practices once everyone in his DCU is a major movie star in 10 years and the logistics matter more than the story.
