Still watching Runaways and while Old Lace looks not bad for their budget, the Rainbow Brite effects for Jonah and Karolina are laughably hideous.
I fully expected Sam to lead the Avengers of earth, but now that I think about it, Reed leading the avengers against Doctor Doom makes sense sort of. If true, I don’t see Sam giving up leadership easily though. Something must go down during the film to cause Reed to be the leader. Like Sam leaves earth or something.
Tbf if I was an Avenger, I’d be comfortable with Reed leading the group against Doom. No on else knows who Doom is lol
These articles are what I'd been wondering if we'd see, a real discussion with Feige about the post-Endgame MCU and what they intend moving forward, and I think he makes the right admissions here. Especially interesting that he specifically talks about film and TV going back to how it was before Phase 4, separate but still consistent in the same universe. I'm very interested to know what's coming after Secret Wars. It's a shame he uses Leader as an example of tying up all these loose ends because I really don't want to wait 12 years to see Moon Knight or the Eternals again, but I'll hold on for whatever they reveal and see what happens.
The "Kang wasn't Thanos" argument is quite frankly silly because general audiences had no idea who either of them were going in and Thanos wasn't even really the draw of Infinity War so much as the culmination of the story they were telling. I maintain that if they told a more coherent narrative and just recast Kang at the earliest opportunity, they would have been fine, but this is the fault of a lot of mistakes adding up to a need for damage control.
nah the character was bad in every appearance except the first one. it was bad writing. if we never learned anything about jonathan majors it would still be bad.
