Speaking of Born Again, my mom keeps asking about it and I keep having to remind her Season 2 isn't until next year and she gets all disappointed. You and me both, Mom.

 

Sorry for the triple post, but we just finished Cloak & Dagger and a criticism I have is they kind of glossed over some events in the back half.

We see no conversation between Ty and Evita about her having "married" Baron Samedi and no discussion about the fact that he knows his mom killed Conners, nor is there any indication that anyone talked to Tandy's mom and explained what the hell was going on or anything to explain why everyone is okay with the pair going out of the city to investigate some murders.

I'm sure they thought some of that would be explored in a Season 3, so it's really just annoying in hindsight.

Yeah those are all fair things to be bothered by. Nothing that's a huge deal and at least the series didn't end on a big cliff hanger, but yeah.

Only on ep 2, Alden Ehrenreich's character should be interesting.

 

I did not realize how over Ironman I am. I understand why he keeps getting mentioned in Ironheart, but it’s painful. We already had a Stark Jr in Far From Home.

 

Not watching Ironheart until all the episodes drop and we don't want to start Runaways and then have to break, so we're finally watching She-Hulk.

So far my only complaint three episodes in is that this is the first time I've noticeably found the CGI distracting in a Marvel project.

It's probably because this is her first outing and because she's basically a green human, but there's something very uncanny valley about She-Hulk.

I imagine it will improve in the next thing they put her in, as they kind of went through the same situation with Hulk.

 

I think we’ll be seeing much more of Jen and less of She-Hulk in whatever future project she’s in

 

You think so? I feel like the Avengers films are where she's most likely to show up and I can't imagine her not being in Hulk form for that.

 

I think they’ll save it for the battles. It will be like a super saiyan transformation. Switch on/off with ease and only when the action calls for it. Saves CGI $$

But who knows when she’ll appear again. If Bruce is really in BND, maybe we’ll see her there?

Yeah, aside from the questionable CGI appearance of She-Hulk, I really enjoyed Tatiana as Jen. I’ll be puzzled if she doesn’t appear in at least one of the upcoming Avengers films.

 

Watched another episode and if Marvel wanted to be cheeky they'd reveal that Cornelius was Mephisto all along and that's why he was hyping Donny Blaze and why he knows Jake.

Btw does anyone else think his hood in this show makes him look more like a DnD dork than an intimidating villain? Haha

 

It's very hard to make out but there looks like the shape of a hand in front of the Hood which implies there's someone in front of him.

I tried to move closer to my screen to see if I could make it out better but weirdly the closer I got, the darker the image became. I blame Marvel, they've clearly awakened demonic powers and now the image is cursed.

 

Well, it’s someone in the hood, for sure. Someone brightened it in the comments, but the face is obscured.
