I’ll check it out just to see what nods it makes to the overall MCU. I don’t expect much from it and have no idea when we’ll see Riri again after this, so…my expectations are safely low
I always liked The Hood as a villain in the comics, so I will check out what they do with him but I am not optimistic.
I don’t think anything in the trailers looks as bad as most people seem to. But, it does seem like it’ll be another Marvel-Studios-film-stretched-out-too-long. Should’ve just kept her out of Wakanda Forever and made her origin the backbone of, like, an Armor Wars movie or something.
I like this idea but, and I could be wrong on this, I feel like them not making a deliberate tie to Tony Stark was them being self-conscious since they already tied Peter and so many villains to Stark, his company, and his actions. I think the problem is that Ironheart is, to my knowledge, not a popular character in any format. She's not unique, but I think if they're really going to tie her tech to magic like they seem to be, that could be an interesting turn.
Yeah I have read some speculation that her and The Hood will likely be supporting characters in the next Dr. Strange project and this series is going to be kind of a lead in to that.
I wouldn’t mind Riri and The Hood connecting to the future Midnight Suns project, but I don’t really like the idea of them playing support in Dr Strange 3. After MOM, I’d like to see Strange 3 focus more on Stephen, Mordo, and one of Stephen’s big rogue galleries (Nightmare, please). I’m sure Clea and Wong will also have decent roles.
I personally don’t see them coming back anytime soon (5 years~) Starfox is stuck with Eternals (rip). Black Knight had an escape card via Blade but….
Starfox and the Eternals could appear in another cosmic film, although I'm not sure who would be the stars since it very obviously won't be the Eternals. I actually think it's a huge missed opportunity if they don't involve the judgement by the Celestials in the plot of Secret Wars, because it makes so much sense if they do, but alas. Hercules would no doubt be a part of Thor 5, whenever that happens. I can't imagine Clea not being seen with Strange since that post-credit was about an incursion and that leads directly into Doomsday/Secret Wars. Black Knight I highly doubt we'll see until Midnight Sons.
Still watching Cloak & Dagger. D'Spayre is such a piece of shit. Right up there with Kilgrave as an absolute garbage human being.
I do not understand how they could be wrestling this hard over this film but were totally okay with putting out Brave New World.
Probably because people hired to work on Blade are trying to make it good instead of tailoring it to work in the MCU’s busted current phase.
I’d be into a Starfox show that follows him traveling the cosmos, recruiting Eternals from various worlds to build a team to fight against Arishem It will never happen, but it would be fun
