Watched the fifth episode of Born Again and I thought it was fun even if it didn't add anything to the overall plot. I also think the only reason that episode exists is because it was already completed, and if it didn't, we'd only have eight episodes, not a different ninth. So as it stands, I'm glad it exists.
Yeah I didn't hate it by any means. It just kinda felt like a different show, but it was a fun enough watch
Avengers Updates (@AvengersUpdated) Evangeline Lilly casually hinting she might be showing up in an Avengers film.
Was Cloak and Dagger good? Never got around to watching it I still don't understand why Disney took Runaways down from everything but left up Cloak and Dagger when they own both and are in the same universe
Finished Born Again, loved it, bring on Season 2, bring on the Defenders reunion party. Random thoughts: I now believe Matt may have freed Bullseye deliberately. He thought he needed Dex's information, he bashed Dex's head in until he heard a tooth break, and let him escape. That's why he doesn't seem surprised at Dex being free and why Dex thanked him after the beating. I also wonder if there is more than one Muse? I ask because it's been said Muse is in Season 2, even though he's dead, and are we supposed to believe one guy killed all those people and painted all of those murals by himself? Food for thought. Finally, in the comics Foggy's death was faked by Vanessa to needle Matt, but I don't think the Vanessa of this universe would have reason to do that, unless it was to have leverage on Matt. But if Foggy is alive, I think it'd make more sense for someone else to be responsible for him being in witness protection. But who and why? Really hope that's what's happening though and that Henson isn't just returning for a flashback.
Not spoiling anything, but I'll say the Season 2 villain is one of the more loathsome evildoers in the MCU.
Fuck it, bring in Cloak and Dagger too. I'm loving this show haha. They're in the same universe, Misty is referenced in the show
I'm still hoping Chloe Bennett and Ming Na Wen come back. AoS was canon! At least most of it, I think? I haven't seen the final season but it sounds like there was some timeline fuckery going on
Well, it's entirely possible they now exist in a completely different timeline than when they started. It's impossible to know, until we do. Schrodinger's canon.
Well, it depends how deep you want to take it. For example, since Luke Cage is canon and it nods to a character in Cloak & Dagger, then both it and Runaways are canon. Is it really though? Could always be nodding to a different character with the same name. By the same token, since Agent Carter includes Edwin Jarvis who shows up in Endgame, then it's canon, and then since Sousa shows up in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., it's canon? Is that the logic? I don't think we can assume anything until it's directly referenced, with no room for doubt.
