I mean who gives a shit about SDCC at this point? It’s not like they need it. Anything they want to announce they can just do at D23
Destination D23 is smaller and is focused on one theme rather than announcements. D23 Expo is a bigger multi day event focused more on big announcements for all aspects of the company.
Ahhhh. My friend was just saying that he wished his trip was during D23 because he’s going next month. Didn’t know that. My bad!
This timeline has me feeling like i dgaf. I used to breed and love this shit now i just dont know nothing or care about nothing. Stale azzwater tried telling me to hang on but i cant do that rizz no mo
They skipped Hall H and had no big announcements in 2010, 2015, 2018, 2021, and 2023. It would be shocking if they skipped this year.
They announced the Avengers lineup and had panels for Thor and The First Avenger in 2010. 2015 was due to their previous announcement in 2014 2018 was due to the ending of Infinity War, I guess. No SDCC in 2021 due to Covid. No Marvel in 2023 due to the Writers Guild strike. It would be very odd for them to skip this year. I’m sure they already had reveals planned.
What do you expect them to have a panel on? Doomsday doesn’t release until after next SDCC now. The only things they could possibly show are FF, Wonder Man, Born Again s2, and potentially the Vision series that hasn’t even started production. Disney+ shows are not what they tend to bring to Hall H, which leaves only FF.
With no D23 this year they can do Wonder Man and Born Again S2 I also see them sticking to their Doomsday announcements (most likely casting). Maybe some concept art as well.
