Trevor Slattery will be in a large portion of it. No signs of a multiverse. There’s also a chance we could see other characters from Shang-Chi appear due to DDC producing/directing.
According to that I’ll say 2027 Films: Secret Wars (May), X-Men (July), Shang-Chi 2 (November) Shows: Champions, Hawkeye S2 2028: Black Panther 3 (February), Doctor Strange 3 (May), Thor 5 (November) Shows: Nova, Mutant-themed show or Midnight Suns **Spider-Man 5 in July 2028, but that won’t be part of Marvel’s release schedule
The problem is they've already said they want their shows to have seasons, so if Daredevil Born Again Season 3 is happening, then according to their rules, there will only be one other show in 2027, whatever that might be.
Hawkeye S2 seems to be in limbo until Renner signs on. Maybe Born Again S3 can join Champions for 2027. It really depends on how fast Marvel gets cameras rolling on S3. I could see a year gap between S2 and S3.
Putting aside what might happen because of real world whatever, their rules seem to be that they want shows they can put out yearly, like normal TV. But if they then restrict those projects to just two per year, then... we're waiting for one show to get cancelled before another gets put on. Which on its face is ridiculous, I imagine if a show is doing well, they're not going to then not do another show, or at least I would hope not. I mean, they managed to do shows on ABC, Netflix, and Freeform all at the same time with only a few lapses in quality, so I feel like they should be able to just do that again as long as they have people actually running each show. But my point is it's fruitless to speculate like this, especially if they're trying to change the way they operate.
True. I unfortunately think they have taken an axe to a portion of the ideas we’ve heard in the rumor mill. Ms Marvel, Moon Night and others may not get more seasons. Not sure how Television Specials such as Punisher and WBN fit in this schedule.
Bummer that this feels like it’s going to be one of those backlog projects that they just want to get out of the way. Worried that Wonder Man will be similar, but hopefully after that we’re in the clear again. Looking forward to both though.
I feel like they waited a little too long on that one. I doubt that many people remember that character in Black Panther 2 three years ago. Interested to see what they'll do with The Hood though. I always thought he was one of the more interesting Marvel characters introduced in the last 25 years.
Is this your bit now? Wandering threads pretending to be interested because if you don't, everyone gets mad at you?
