It’s crazy that it’s been 10 years, and when I see a photo of her, I instantly think of Jessica Jones. She really crafted the character into her own.

She can really do something if the MCU gives her the time and devotion.

Shame she wasn’t in Daredevil Born Again like originally planned. But that would’ve been an entirely different story from what we have now after the rehaul. Maybe in season 2.

 

IIRC, Punisher was brought in during the original story treatment in response to prior commitments that Ritter had, which didn’t allow Jones to be part of the story. Punisher was then kept for the overhaul due to how he was worked into the story (and after his character was rewritten because Bernthal refused to work with the original pitch for Punisher’s return).

FWIW, she is expected to be in season 2. We should know by June.

 

Yup, it was the Orphan Black spin-off. Then Punisher came in like you said and the story was going to be about them searching for Jessica, I believe, with her then appearing in the 2nd part of season 1.

 

Weird. Why would Punisher search for Jessica? He doesn't know her from a hole in the ground.

EDIT: Although I guess this was before it was retooled to continue from the Netflix show, so I don't know what I'm on about. Ignore me!
