Can’t see her ever doing a comic book movie now. She’s talked about being very picky going forward with picking roles that mean something to her. Would be cool though.
She just won the best actress oscar for Anora. She was also in Scream 5 and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
I never knew Amanda was almost cast as Gamora. She fucked up on going with that Seth MacFarlane movie. That movie was fucking awful lol But like she said, they didn’t know if it was gonna be a flop or not Amanda Seyfried Thought Guardians of the Galaxy Would Hurt Her Career
"I Want Your Cray-Cray" is the most uncomfortably cringe moment in any of the Netflix shows and possibly the entire MCU.
Continuing rewatch of Jessica Jones Season 2 and I think the thing I like most is that unlike any other season, there's no real villain or "big bad". Just a difficult, personal, and morally complex situation that gets explored at length, and it's pretty tragic.
I watched Daredevil season 1 and wasn’t into the way they spread it out over 20 episodes or whatever it was. Although they are mostly pretty bad, I’m more into the shiny, punchy mini-movie feel of the Disney+ shows. Is Daredevil S3 closer to the Disney+ shows in pace and feel? Can one watch it reasonably while skipping all the Netflix shows?
I don't know why I stopped tbh. I think it was just because Diamondback and The Purple Man were such perfect villains that I couldn't imagine the shows being anywhere near as good after them lol
Yeah the Disney+ show has a slightly different tone, even though it's a continuation of the Netflix show, and faster paced. I think the first season is only going to be 9 episodes total. It can be watched on its own imo but you'll have less of an appreciation for the characters
13. The only exceptions were Defenders at 8 and Iron Fist S2 at 10. To compare, Lost Season 1 was 25 episodes.
Definitely was a bit painful bingeing those long seasons of LOST heh but it was worth it and made rewatching Daredevil S1 afterwards feel like a breeze in comparison
Agreed...I DON'T miss the filler and pointless arcs but when it was GOOD it was GOOD and sometimes I'm bummed that a show that's firing on all cylinders is done after only 6 episodes or so, and then we have to pray for a S2 or wait two years lol.
