Finished rewatching Punisher Season 1 and even though I know a lot of comic nerds were (and still are) upset about the changes made to Jigsaw, I honestly find what they did much more interesting than the character from the comics, who was kind of one dimensional. It's so sad to see all the scenes of Frank and him when they were still friends and see how things should have been if Billy weren't an amoral sociopath. Another thing I find interesting is how everyone who comes into Frank's radius eventually starts to think more like him. Karen, Micro, Madani, the way their worldview gets filtered by Frank. Part of it is absolutely Bernthal playing Frank as a far more affable and approachable character than the comics, which I think was a great decision that makes the character more real and grounded, and makes it easier to empathize with him. It sells the character. One of my favorite scenes in the show is the second to last, after Frank gets tortured and Micro is trying to keep him conscious. When he says "My friend is dying", tears. Next, Jessica Jones Season 2!

Just finished rewatching the first season of DD last night, and man, it was just so perfect. Tbh forgot how great Wesley was. I'm really enjoying DD Born Again, but man, the old show blew it out of the water
Started Jessica Jones S2 rewatch, and the way they brought back Simpson only to kill him still annoys me, especially after learning they had a whole arc for him planned that they couldn't make fit. Like, so instead of saving it for next season, you just kill him off? Such a wasteful creative decision.

Season 2 is my favorite out of the 3 seasons, but S3 ended strong. I have to give it major credit for that.
