The SM4 we're getting isn't necessarily the SM4 Marvel wanted to do. Totally makes sense that Peter could've met Miles in a more street level movie like they supposedly wanted.
I fully believe they knew the story for the next spiderman by 2023, but I don’t think they ever planned to shoot and have the film ready for release before Kang Dynasty.
I was more pointing out they were still writing the script for SM4 in the time this first draft was written, so would they really have been confident enough in a dynamic between Peter and Miles to have written it into this?
I guess they could have written multiple versions like they did with civil war. Scripts with certain characters omitted and some where they remained just in case
I'm most intrigued by this Wonder Man business and where they got their bits from for his role, since he hasn't appeared in the MCU yet and we know so little about the show.
My favorite part of the script is Tobey’s and Andrew’s Spiderman for sure. I wonder how much will transfer to Doomsday.
It is a little weird to me that She-Hulk is just kind of around and totally onboard the whole hero thing and "helping in the lab". Didn't she want to just be a lawyer? I actually haven't watched the show, just spoiled myself on the jist.
Yeah, from The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, also reappearing in Captain America: Brave New World. Sam's partner.
Fun fact: my mom thinks Diamondback's costume is stupid. It's the first time I’ve ever heard her be critical of any of this stuff.
Finished rewatching Luke Cage S1. Really want that cast to return in the MCU. Bring back Shades, Diamondback, Bobby Fish, Misty, the whole deal. Such a great show with a real vibe. Next it's time to rewatch the greatest Defender of all.
