Just saw this on my search for Wells.

 

Are scripts expected to have spelling and grammar mistakes? Genuine question.

 

I’m not (I deleted my Reddit profile long ago and only lurk now) but I happened to be going through that sub and thought “that comment is basically how I feel” so I copied it instead of attempting to type it out myself

It looks like that account has only posted the script. Maybe it’s secretly Jeff

 

I noticed a few myself. It’s the first draft, so…maybe.

 

I used spell check on my first drafts in school and I wasn’t paid for it. Lol

 

Rookie mistake.

 

Someone in the comments said they believe it’s ChatGPT for a couple reasons they stated. Could always be Marvel though. Lmao

 

If this is ChatGPT, I may need to rethink my stance on AI.

 

I worked under the theory that the first draft should always be as close to your final draft as possible because I only wanted to work on it once.

I also didn’t have an assistant that probably could’ve proofread it for me.

 

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s fake. I’m just surprised that it’s actually good. Whoever wrote it knows how to entertain

 

Yeah, so far I'm really impressed by how it's pulling together so many disparate characters and sounds like it's actually following up on their plot threads.

 

Is it weird that it being good makes me doubt it more? It’s almost too satisfying?

All I know is that DDC could have killed it with this script once it had been polished

Finished the script and they definitely borrowed from Infinity War at the end there, but it works so well.

What a fucking waste. If this is real, I wish we got it, and if it's not real, it should be but it won't. God fucking dammit.

 

One gripe that is weirdly eating at me: There is absolutely no reason for Daredevil or Punisher to be in this. They show up, participate, but have only two lines and no character development. That is maybe the only thing taking me out of this.

 

The script is fine, but as people have previously said, there are grammatical errors that make me believe it may have been ChatGPT. Do we have to use spoiler tags for this since even if it’s real it’s now just fan fic?

This “draft” was submitted in April 2023 and I’m sure Marvel knew by then there was no way of spiderman 4 releasing before Kang dynasty. So Miles already being spiderman and knowing Peter kind of gives away that this isn’t a legit script
