While it would be better for the future of the franchise to get Ali’s Blade rolling, I’d be open to a film that features both Ali and Snipes. Snipes will probably reappear in Secret Wars.
Blade in D&W was cool and all, but why are people just forgetting that Halle Berry said he abused her and caused her to have hearing loss? Feels weird that everyone is just championing him now. And I’m not speaking about anyone on this site, but just the stuff I’ve seen on social media, which obviously leans towards the mostly unhinged.
Leave it up to Sony (if the rumors are correct) to want to turn the world’s biggest street-level superhero into a multiverse ip But on the other hand, we've had 3 Multiverse-centric Spider-Man films, and they've all ranged from good (No Way Home) to some of the best comic book films of all-time (Into & Across the Spider-Verse). Very much a "time will tell" situation.
If I had a nickel for every time MCU Spider-Man was set up at the end of his solo movie to go all in on being a street level hero only to get sucked into whatever cosmic-level bullshit the Avengers are doing the next time he shows up, I'd have two nickels Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
i loved how she was straight up about not getting or understanding the mcu lol she was like yah i dont get it at all edit: here it is
Going through a rewatch of TFAWS, and it’s much better than I remembered. Playing the episodes back-to-back helps build momentum, which really enhances the show.
WandaVision - TFAWS - Loki S1 stretch coming off of Endgame definitely made the post-Infinity Saga MCU feel exciting and promising
I agree but there were detractors from Falcon onward, honestly. Every other release was disappointing to someone. You had Loki, then Black Widow. Then Shang-Chi, then Eternals. Me? I'm living my best Marvel life.
In a vaccuum, I would agree that Mads would be a great Dr. Doom, but considering we have no idea what's actually going on here, I'm going to hold out my opinion until we get more information. I still have no reason to believe Downey is playing a straightforward Dr. Doom.
The same “Mads was originally in talks to play Doom” was mentioned 2 weeks ago on the spoiler sub and it was traced back to one tweet of a random guy wishing it would have happened. One clickbait twitter account retweeted it as evidence, clickbait websites started sharing that one tweet, and it spread from there. Mads would probably do great in the role, but it’s pure fan-casting based on his demeanor.
I would bet money that he is playing an actual version of Victor Von Doom. Different universe where Doom just so happens to look like the Sacred Timeline’s Tony Stark. Desperate? Yes. Can RDJ pull off playing Doom? Also yes. Am I confident this will work?
