They’ve gotta figure out how to include that one character from that one movie and/or tv show/special
I don't know if you're serious, but I am all for this. "It's Abraham fucking Lincoln!" in tones of utter terror is the most delightful phrase I've heard from a movie.
At this pace, if he wants to stick around long enough to play Blade, he gotta get bit by a real vampire
At this point they should just introduce Blade in the Midnight Suns movie. Maybe a solo film will have more luck after that.
At this point, they oughta just let Ali go and get someone younger to play the role, too much time has passed and it’s clear it’s not coming out anytime soon.
It would still be cool to bring the ATSV Miguel into the MCU as a villain. If that happened I wonder if they would have kept Oscar Isaac since he would also be moon knight in the mcu.
There’s precedence for both him staying animated in the MCU and for him becoming live-action if he entered the MCU. I would say the former would stay Oscar Isaac and the latter would be a recast.
Just finally watched The Marvels and I have some thoughts. First and foremost, I thought it was very fun and did not deserve to bomb at the box office. The planet operating on Disney logic was corny but inspired and funny to watch, and I loved the use of the Flerkins as escape pods and felt like a nice nod to Star Trek's Tribbles. I do think some parts could have benefited from more care. The villain's motives were there but she should have been played more sympathetically instead of chewing the scenery. There were also some scenes of technobabble that could have been tightened up. I also think the bits about Carol destroying the Supreme Intelligence and the Kree falling into disrepair could have been fleshed out more. I do think the film can be enjoyed on its own merits, and watched this with someone who did, but I do understand why this film could have been seen as relying on previous knowledge more than most. You have Kamala, and the events of WandaVision, and of course Captain Marvel, and it's a lot for this film to tie together into a cohesive narrative. I think it mostly succeeds. Anyway, that's my take. I'm still enjoying the shit out of the MCU.
