If I was a betting man I’d say the 2026 Avengers lineup will be:

Captain America (Sam)
Spider-Man
Shang-Chi
Star-Lord
Daredevil
She-Hulk
Wasp
Ant-Man
War Machine

 

Kind of don't want Daredevil to join the Avengers just cause he's always been a street level hero and has never joined in the comics to my knowledge.

I feel like there should be at least some big heroes that are not part of the machine.

 

That would be a solid lineup imo. Gives some of the newer characters a chance to shine. Only issue I would see is that it feels like there’s a lack of super powered characters. Then again it does arguably have more than the OG lineup, so I may be wrong.

 

I also wonder whether Scarlet Witch and Vision will rejoin the Avengers and if Sersi will become a member to keep the Eternals in the mix.

 

At this point I'm more interested in a team up with Iman, Kathryn, Hailee, and Xochitl. Tom can come too I guess

 

I want to be free of this pain..

 

I have a bit of superhero fatigue but like specifically only for MCU. That said, I do really appreciate that we've gotten a lot of young characters as well as a lot of AAPI characters in Phase Four. I just hope that's not the last time we see Gemma and Kumail

That’s exactly what rumors seem to indicate that they are. Minus this most recent one.

 

People are speculating the real title might be Agatha All Along and this is just a running gag leaning into the joke.

You know what, I'm cool with it. I can appreciate what they're doing, if that's what it is.

I hope that's what it is.

 

On the one hand this is quite clever, on the other hand my head is going to the fan theories that there was going to be a secret fourth episode of Sherlock to retroactively justify how bad the final series was

 

No Strange?

 

Doctor Strange is like Black Panther. Not really part of the core Avengers dynamic until the stakes become higher or something drags him in.

I also think he’ll be off world with Clea being that Avengers 5 takes place before Doctor Strange 3

 

Neat that they’re considering a character created by Gene Leun Yang (and directly inspired by Journey to the West).

Also an interesting choice in selecting K’un Lun with its role in Secret Wars - a region in Battleworld that Emperor Zheng Zu (Wenwu) rules.

It would fit this film nicely within the “Battleworld” phase.
