tbf from the perspective of a wrestling fan, it makes complete sense why Rock would think like this and carry that attitude over to acting. It's Top Guy mentality. You gotta protect the gimmick brother.

He is also another actor who technically was in the MCU already. He played an unnamed Ravager pilot in the first GotG. We're at that point in the MCU where a guy who played "space pilot #1" in one of the movies 10 years ago is now getting a major marquee role a decade later.
