My hype level for the MCU peaked with Endgame. While I am looking forward to Deadpool and Wolverine, it’s just not at that level. I think that’s okay.
It's actually okay to not be hyped because it will allow you to process the film in a normal comfortable way.
As theorized, it seems that the MCU X-Men will be from a different universe that merges with 616 following Secret Wars
It's still a theory, isn't it? Since this isn't an official source, but MyTimeToShineHello, who like a stopped clock is only right twice a day?
That’s why I put “it seems.” MTTS has had a good number of truths and a good number of false tales. I think her tweets are at least smoke to a fire.
I’d say this means Blade gets pushed to 2026, since they’ve got Brave New World, Thunderbolts, and Fantastic Four in a 6 month span already.
Yeah, I’m thinking it’ll look something like this.. 2024: Deadpool and Wolverine, Agatha 2025: Brave New World, Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, Ironheart, Daredevil 2026: Blade, Avengers 5, Shang-Chi 2(??), Wonder Man, Vision Quest(??) 2027: Armor Wars, ??????
Spider-Man 4 will have to be in 2026 and starts production later this year. That means either Blade, Shang-Chi 2, or Avengers 5 will have to be pushed to 2027.
I don’t think Disney has ever included the Spider-Man movies in their public plans, as those are technically Sony movies. But I could totally see Shang-Chi 2 not releasing until 2027.
Would be weird for either Armor Wars or Shang-Chi 2 to be released in 2027 being that they start filming Q1 2025.
Yeah, I’d expect one or the other gets a 2026 date, and the other is early 2027. ‘26 will technically have 4 movies, but Disney isn’t including Spider-Man in its counts on investor calls, because they aren’t the distributor.
I don’t believe that for one second. Why would they be jumping into figuring out Apocalypse before the X-Men are even established? And why would they go with a mediocre actor and known control freak?
Apocalypse is believable. The first MCU X-Men film starts filming late 2025, so Marvel has probably settled on a villain. The X-Men could already be established by the time the film starts. We don’t need an origin film told in a linear fashion.
The first X-Men movie will start late 2025, if they can make Secret Wars happen on time. Didn’t they already say it’s not being released before Secret Wars? So either they’d be jumping right into Apocalypse right off the bat for some reason in the first movie or Shine somehow knows that they’re trying to hire the Rock for another X-Men movie that is probably like 5+ years out?
If Marvel decides to not focus on the Erik/Xavier struggle, Apocalypse would be a good villain. They would be able to give a history of mutants with him as the villain.
